During your hospital stay and/or as result of your surgery, you can become quite de-conditioned, weak, unstable on your feet, have aches and pains plus feel more tired. This is common and more pronounced the longer you stay in hospital and dependant on the type of surgery you have had.
At Rehab Ready, we will assess your function, listen to your goals and devise a plan using exercises to help you recover from your hospital stay and surgery. Physiotherapists also work in partnership with doctors and other health professionals to ensure the best possible treatment and care.

Cardiac Rehabilitation
The program is suitable for people with Ischaemic Heart Disease (post cardiac arrest, stable angina pectoris, post myocardial infarction) and post cardiac surgery (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CAPGs), valve repair/replacement, stent).
Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Suitable for people with Chronic Pulmonary Disease (COPD) (emphysema and chronic bronchitis), bronchiectasis, pulmonary fibrosis and pre and post lung volume reduction surgery.
